Ok, let’s kick this thing into gear and get rolling. We’ll shoot for our very first “Startup Drinks” this coming Friday. Streets at Southpoint
is a moderately central location for most of the Triangle and seems like a good compromise on location. At the first event we can talk about
what we want to do for future events…. stay strictly ad-hoc, come up with some kind of schedule, a hybrid of both, etc. as well as talk about venue.
But more importantly than a lot of navel-gazing meta-discussion will be talk about what really matters: STARTUPS! Let’s talk about how we
can start building the startup scene in this area, and get interested people together who are doing startups, or are interested in startups or whatever.
Techies, marketers, lawyers, VCs, executives, whatever, everyone is invited to come out, eat, drink and talk STARTUPS.
